By creating an account or using Get Ready in any way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Get Ready ("we," "us," "our").

You must be at least 18 years old to use Get Ready. By accepting these terms you confirm that you meet that requirement.

Get Ready is a preparedness intelligence platform. We generate static Area Study reports, deliver ongoing agent-driven intelligence about local and regional conditions, and provide audio briefings via a private podcast feed. Our reports synthesize publicly available data — weather, hazard indices, infrastructure, news — into formats that help you understand your environment and make preparedness decisions.

Get Ready is an informational tool, not a safety system. Nothing we produce constitutes professional emergency management, legal, medical, or tactical advice. Do not rely on Get Ready as your sole source of information in an active emergency. Use official government emergency channels for life-safety decisions.

You are responsible for your account, the email address associated with it, and any activity that occurs under it. Keep your access credentials secure.

You may not create accounts for other people without their knowledge, share your account with others, or use automated means to create accounts.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the service in a way that harms other users or the service itself.

Get Ready offers a free tier and a paid Plus subscription. Subscription pricing is displayed at checkout and on our pricing page. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on the recurring interval shown at checkout.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; you retain access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

Pricing may change. We will give you at least 30 days notice before increasing the price of an active subscription, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

You agree not to:

• — Use Get Ready for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation.
• — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• — Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from Get Ready without written permission.
• — Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
• — Resell or sublicense access to Get Ready without written permission.
• — Use the service to generate, distribute, or store content that is harmful, harassing, or deceptive.
• — Impersonate Get Ready, its employees, or other users.

You may provide us with content such as custom RSS feed URLs and location data. You retain ownership of any content you provide. By submitting content to Get Ready, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to operate and improve the service for you.

We do not claim ownership of your data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

The Get Ready platform, reports, briefings, brand assets, and underlying software are owned by Get Ready and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

The underlying data sources we use (NOAA, census, public databases) are publicly available. Our synthesis, formatting, scoring, and delivery are our work product.

Get Ready is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular data point will be accurate, complete, or current.

Data from third-party sources — weather agencies, government databases, news feeds — may contain errors, delays, or gaps that are outside our control. We pass it through as faithfully as we can but we cannot guarantee its accuracy.

Intelligence reports are generated by automated systems and large language models. They should be treated as a starting point for your own research and judgment, not as authoritative fact.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Get Ready shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will notify you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Get Ready after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

If we make changes that materially reduce your rights, you may cancel your subscription before the new terms take effect and receive a prorated refund for any unused paid period.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wake County, North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
